From 8 October to 11 December, every mat you roll out helps First Nations girls and young women stay at school, finish Year 12 and step into what comes next.
Stars Foundation mentors Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and young women in schools across Australia. Full-time Mentors run the Stars Room, a culturally safe, warm place at school where girls build the confidence, self-esteem and life skills to stay engaged, finish Year 12 and move into work or further study.
It is a program built on strong, trusting relationships. Which, if you think about it, is what a good practice community is too.

For the next two months we're pointing this community at something bigger than a class. We chose Stars because we love what they do: they give girls a room, a mentor and a reason to keep turning up.
Grab a pack, bring a friend, or talk to us about a bigger gift. However you join in, thank you.
Until 11 December
